JOB TITLE(s): Head of Sales, VP Sales
Job Description
On the heels of tremendous market validation, our client is looking for a head of Sales to accelerate its Go-To-Market efforts. You will be joining an exceptional leadership team at a fast growing enterprise startup. This is a tremendous opportunity for an innovative sales leader to unleash the entrepreneur in them and build the next great enterprise software company.
- Close the next set of deals to gain personal understanding of the buyer, the problem we’re solving and the value our client delivers
- Build and lead a team of high-performing enterprise sales reps in a player-coach role
- Set the vision and strategy for the sales organization. Recruit world class talent. Inspire, develop, coach and mentor your team
- Build and nurture C-level relationships across top accounts as the executive sponsor to solidify our partnership and commitment to the customer
- Create and manage sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes that can scale with the business
- Work with the rest of the management team to continuously improve our product, our positioning and our processes
Qualification
- Minimum of 10 years of experience closing complex enterprise SaaS deals
- Minimum of 5 years experience building, scaling and managing high performing enterprise sales teams
- Proven track record of closing six-figure ACV deals
- Deep understanding of enterprise sales cycles for technically complex products and solutions
- Comfortable in an early-stage “roll up your sleeves” startup environment
- Skilled at building relationships with customers and co-workers
- Exceptional communication skills
